Rescue Me ID: 17-01-15-00071Ted (male)

Norfolk Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Ted is a 2 year old male terrier mix who iis about 12 lbs, and 100% adorable. This little guy came to Fuzzy Pawz from a local shelter where he was terrified. It took some time for him to realize humans aren't so bad; he is still nervous around strangers but now this adorable little guy is ready to find his forever people. He is extremely well behaved and has been the sweetest boy at his foster home. He is potty trained and does very well with a doggy door. He is very attached to his furry foster siblings and would definitely do best with a playmate. He loves to play with other pups and snuggle up with them; he ... (Read More)also finds comfort with other furry buddies. He is super gentle with smaller dogs and no issues with kitties. He also loves toys and chew bones. He likes to round up all the toys and take them to his bed - How great is a dog that cleans up?! He doesn't bark much, and he isn't at all yappy like some terriers. Ted is a champ with baths and just doesn't really make a fuss about anything. He probably thinks his name is good-boy because his foster mom says it so much! Ted may have had a rough early life as he is very leery of humans. It takes him some time to warm up to humans, and his forever home will need to be very patient and give him time to come around. It has taken some time, but he lets his foster mom pet him and pick him up. Ted could really benefit from some training for skills like 'come' and 'stay' and walking on a leash. Small kiddos are not a good fit for Ted as he is freighted by sudden movements or anyone that approaches him too fast. It may take some time for Ted to warm up, but he is absolutely worth it! This sweet guy deserves a loving forever home where he can settle in and be a part of the family. Ted is neutered, vaccinated and has a microchip If you think you can offer Ted an amazing forever home please complete an adoption application on the Fuzzy Pawz website: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is an adoption fee of $75 for Ted (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-11-22-00342Sophie (female)

Boxer    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Sophie is a 10 year old Boxer whose owners could no longer care for her. She's had a rough go of life and this will be at least her third home; we want to make it her last home! She's a great girl with a ton to give and we know we can find just the right family who will love her for years. Sophie is just the sweetest girl and her favorite things always include her people! She wants to be with her humans all the time doing whatever they are doing. She loves to touch you and be touched by you; she's a very 'hands on' type of dog. You want to go? She wants to go with you. You want to lie on the couch? She ... (Read More)wants to be with you. She would thrive in a household with a family that will engage her in all of their lives actives. Her ideal home would be with adults (noisy kids can stress her out) who while they have a quiet life are active enough to take her for long daily strolls (this is required) and maybe light hikes. She has nice manners, knows basic commands such as sit, come, stay, down. She doesn't bark unless there is a loud noise and at that point it is only when she feels the need to let out one or two warning barks. She is crate-trained and house-trained completely. She does not get on furniture. She goes to the bathroom on command at night. Due to her body type and shorter fur, she gets cold in the winter easily and gets overheated in the summer so she needs to be an indoor dog. She is not protective over food and takes treats gently, but she can be possessive over toys. She's extremely sensitive to noise, but doesn't act as if she's ever been abused or physically hit. She loves car rides. S Sophie is so-so with other dogs and horrible with cats; she would do best in a household with no other pets. Sophie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. If you feel you can offer this senior girl with a ton of love to give the forever loving home she deserves, please complete an adoption application here: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $50 adoption fee for Sophie (Less)
