Rescue Me ID: 17-03-14-00218Buddy (male)

Cocker Spaniel    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Nampa ID Will you be my cuddle buddy? Buddy is a 10 year old loving cocker spaniel. He is an easy going, gentle and loving companion. Everyone who meets this boy just loves how sweet, mellow and friendly he is. Buddy came to Fuzzy Pawz a hot mess. He had a very severe case of Pancreatitis which took a while to clear up. He also had glaucoma in his left eye; it was very painful for him so Fuzzy Pawz had it removed. He is now healthy, happy and oh so ready to find his forever home! Buddy is house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a dream rider in the car; just curls up and goes to sleep. Buddy does not ... (Read More)seem interested in toys. Buddy is great with cats and other dogs; although he prefers easy going dogs. He lives with three senior dogs in his foster home and just enjoys hanging out. Buddy is completely deaf, but does well in a fenced yard or on a leash. Due to Buddy being deaf, he is not safe off leash unless in a fenced area. He has learned a few hand signals in his foster home: come, no and sit. Buddy loves to follow his foster Mom around the house and then take a nap on the dog bed near her. He is an easy going and loving companion. Buddy currently lives with a person in a wheelchair in his foster home and it does not bother him at all; in fact he loves to sleep next to the wheelchair. Being deaf, he does not always know when his foster Dad is moving around; but a gentle touch will get Buddy to look around and move out of the way if needed. Due to only having one eye and being deaf, Buddy can sometimes be startled easily. We recommend kids over 12 for this reason. If you are looking for a calm, quiet companion Buddy just may be your guy! If you would like to meet this wonderful boy please fill out an adoption application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Buddy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped There is a $50 adoption fee for him. **Note photos were taken before Buddy had his eye removed. Rescue Me ID: 17-02-24-00370Miles (male)

Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Squeeeeeee!!! What a schmoopsie Miles is a sweet and lovable senior that found his way to a local shelter and he was in bad shape! He was significantly underweight, had major dental issues and sadly was wearing a harness that had been on him so long it made indentations in his bones. We are pretty darn sure that Miles was tied in a backyard his entire life with little contact from anyone. Fuzzy Pawz took him in and got him some much needed medical care, and his foster mom has been helping him pack on the lbs. Now this mellow older guy is ready to settle in with his forever home. Miles is a smaller guy with a ... (Read More)thin frame and long skinny legs; best guess is he is about 10 years old. He's about 10 lbs, but he could stand to put on another 5 lbs or so. We think he's some kind of terrier mix, we are pretty sure he is a Yoda offspring - come on check out those ears! Whatever he is we just know he is 100% love and happiness. Despite an obvious neglect he endured before he came to Fuzzy Pawz he is a doll; he loves to curl up in his doughnut bed and loves to be near his foster mom. He's pretty indifferent to the other dogs in his foster home, but would do fine with other dogs or kitties. He doesn't bark or make any noise, which is good if there are nearby neighbors. Even though Miles is older, he's definitely got some spunk! He likes to go on lots of short walks with his foster mom. Miles has learned to use the doggy door, but will need to be crated if he has to go long periods without potty breaks. He actually really likes the comfort of his crate and goes in at night on his own; we ask that his new family make sure he has a crate to sleep in. The best part about Miles is that he smiles when someone talks to him or gives him attention - That's how he got his name (S)Miles! Miles is in retirement mode, so he'd do best in a laid back and quiet home. Older kiddos would be fine, but small kids would probably make him nervous. We'd really like to see him go to a home where the human is in retirement mode also. If you're looking for a sweet and mellow cuddle bug, and you have lot of love to give, Miles could be a great fit! If you are interested in giving this adorable, quirky little boy a warm lap to cuddle on just fill out an application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and we'll get back to you. Miles is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped There is a $50 adoption fee for Miles (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-09-00196Molly (female)

Australian Cattle Dog Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

FOSTER LOCATION: Meridian, ID Molly is approximately 12 years old and we think she is a Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd mix. She got the size of a cattle dog, but the shape of an Australian Shepherd. She is very calm and relaxed in the house. As she is older she does enjoy a peaceful and calm environment. She isn't huge into chasing toys are balls, but she will happily deconstruct a toy if you give her one. She is very treat motivated. She does struggle with begging for food as she's obviously been rewarded many times over for it in the past, but with a little training and practice she could quickly be trained out of it! Molly is ... (Read More)very sweet and has a great personality. When you fill up her food bowl you will be rewarded with the cutest little 'happy hops' from her. She does enjoy getting out and walking as well as exploring the backyard. However, she is very much an indoor dog and does not want to spend very much time outside when it is cold. She does well with other dogs, yet she is a food stealer and will happily eat all other dog's food so free feeding her with other dogs in the house would not be a good idea. She works best with getting a set meal for breakfast and dinner. She will growl at another dog if she feels the dog is getting into her bubble, but is not aggressive with dogs. Molly and chickens are a no go! She will happily eat them given the chance! Molly knows basic obedience commands and does not chew on household items. She is the perfect house dog! This little girl deserves a wonderful forever home! If you are interested in giving this lovely girl a warm lap to cuddle on just fill out an application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and we'll get back to you. Molly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped There is a $40 adoption fee for her Breed: Cattle dog/Australian Shepherd/Mix Age: 12 years Sex: Female Size: Medium (approx 50 lbs) Color: Black (with white markings) House trained: Yes No Small kids: Kids over 10 due to her age (Less)

American Shorthair Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Obese

FOSTER LOCATION: Emmett, ID We affectionately call this girl Two Ton Tami as she weighs in at a whopping 23 lbs! Tami came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue a bit of a hot mess - she was matted, filthy and her health wasn't the greatest. She has lost a bit of weight while with us (down from 26 lbs) and she will need to continue on her diet and of course playing with toys and running around a house will help also. She is now a healthy, quiet, easy going girl who would love a home of her own. A quiet, calmer home would be best for her (no small kids) as she's around 6 and never lived with kids. She is okay with other cats and we believe she would be ... (Read More)fine with cat friendly dogs. Tami is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped There is a $25 adoption fee for her If you want to meet her just fill out an application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ (Less)
