Rescue Me ID: 15-02-25-00200Roxy (female)

Pug    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Caldwell, ID This is sweet and silly Roxy, or as we lovingly call her Roxy Rue. Roxy is an 8 year old female Pug with the best personality and just an easy girl to have around. Roxy came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after being turned into a shelter; she had spent the last year of her life living in the backyard with a dog house for shelter. Roxy was a bit sickly when she came into foster care; she has a very bad eye infection and major trouble breathing. Medication for her eyes to clear up the infection, nasal and soft palette surgery to help with her breathing and she is doing 100% better. Roxy does suffer from chronic dry ... (Read More)eye and will need to have a drop in her eyes every day for the rest of her life. The cost for this is not expensive. Because of her dry eye she doesn't see as well as she could if she had been given proper care from a vet early on. She still sees fairly well and it doesn't slow her activity down in the least. Her hearing is perfect, she can hear you open the pantry door in the kitchen from the other side of the house. (Dog treats in this cupboard). Now that she is living indoors with her foster family she has thrived! She loves being an indoor family member and is housetrained and has never had an accident in our home. Roxy likes the company of another dog and loves to play and wrestle with the dogs she lives with. Roxy loves soft dog toys and if it has a squeaker in it, even better. Roxy knows how to sit for a treat and will take it gently from you. Roxy has a great energy about her and really is such an easy dog to have in your home. Roxy is crate trained and sleeps in her crate all night without a peep. Roxy eats a grain free diet as most Pugs are very sensitive to grain. Roxy loves kids and just being with her family in whatever room you are in. Roxy would do well as an only dog and with a retired couple or with a family. Roxy would do best in a home where someone is home off and on during the day or at home with another dog to keep her company. If this sweet little puggy girl sounds like a match for you please go to www.fuzzypawzrescue.com and fill out the adoption application and her foster mom will get back with you soon. Roxy's adoption fee is $150 to cover part of the cost of the vetting the rescue did. Roxy is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-25-00185Felix (male)

Manchester Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Twin Falls, ID Feeling lonely, sad, blue or bored with life? Felix may just be what has been missing from your life. This little guy is a 1(ish) year old Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua mix and he may be small in stature but what he lacks in size he makes up in personality. Felix refers to himself as 'fun size' and we would have to agree; there is nothing about him that isn't fun. We could tell you the boring stuff like how is he house trained, crate trained, knows how to sit and lie down, and gets along with dogs and cats. But that's the boring stuff. How about the fact the he LOVES his people, he will lie in your arms ... (Read More)and melt if you pet his neck and face, he will crawl under the covers to keep your feet warm, he likes to hike off leash with the other dogs and explore. Felix loves to play with other dogs...from a 10 pound Chihuahua to a 120 pound Mastiff mix, he is a friend to all canines. Felix enjoys going for walks and car rides and gets very excited when the leash comes out because he knows an adventure is about to happen. Felix is often found contentedly chewing on a nylabone or chasing a rubber ball around the room. Felix is very smart and food motivated which means he will quickly learn new tricks...it also means that whenever a chip bag wrinkles, he'll be there. He will sit in front of you with eager eyes hoping for just a 'taste.' Good luck turning him down with a face like his. As much as Felix loves people he seems to have found certain people that set him on edge. We haven't been able to figure out a pattern yet; so he will need to go to a home with no kids under 15. Also while Felix loves to snuggle he is NOT a 'purse' dog and does not want or need to be carried around. If you think this 'fun size' boy sounds like a match for you please go to www.fuzzypawzrescue.com and fill out the adoption application and his foster mom will get back with you soon. Felix's adoption fee is $75 Felix is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-19-00306Jo Jo (male)

Domestic Cat    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Not long ago Fuzzy Pawz was alerted to a very sad situation, 4 cats whose humans had both passed suddenly (within months of each other) were in desperate need of a place to go. The family was able to take the oldest of the 4 into their home but was unable to make room for the other 3. When we read the note we knew we had to do whatever it took to find these 3 babies forever homes. After telling the family that we would place Jack, Percy & Jo Jo into foster care and find them homes the caregiver said: 'My heart just hurts that I can't keep all of them but to know that they will go somewhere full of love and ... (Read More)that I get to watch their journey to a forever home just makes my heart full.' We knew we had made the right decision and upon meeting the 3 boys we were enchanted with all of them. Jo Jo is a 2(ish) year old domestic shorthair and is very sweet and curious about life. He can be a little nervous in a new situation and tends to take a minute or two to warm up to new people. He likes to sit and watch what you are doing - we call it supervising, making sure you are doing your job - like getting him a treat! His beautiful yellow/green yellows with their soft lidded look make you want to just reach out and touch him. This handsome boy loves to play with toys; he's very good about entertaining himself but also really likes it if you play with him. Have an infestation of feather toys? Jo Jo is your boy; he will pounce and 'kill' them for you! He likes it when you play with him and is so very adorable when he is starring down the toy mice. Jo Jo does well with other cats and even likes cat friendly dogs. Even though he takes a minute to warm up to new people he is also very good with kids; seems to enjoy them in fact. He also loves to snuggle up in his cat bed to snooze so a nice comfy cat bed in his forever home is a must. We of course would love to see him adopted with 1 or more of his brothers (Purcy & Jack) but totally understand that someone adopting multiples is not always possible. If you are looking for a handsome man to keep the toy mice and feathers under control then Jo Jo is your boy. His new home must be able to provide him with windows so he can bask in the sunshine all day, plenty of scratches and of course lots of love. Jo Jo is neutered, vaccinated and in good health. Jo Jo is also declawed in the front. To find out if you are the perfect match complete an adoption application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $10 adoption fee for Jo Jo (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-19-00203Stanford (male)

Maltese Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID From the heart of the Silicon Valley with a master's degree in Cuteness and a minor in Good Behavior we introduce to you Stanford; the 1(ish) year old Maltese/Terrier mix. After losing his home in San Francisco and being relocated to a shelter in Boise; Stanford settled into a deep depression. Already under socialized with people and now unsure of what to expect in life he lay curled into a tight ball in the back of his kennel. When a Fuzzy Pawz Rescue volunteer saw him she knew he needed out and into a foster home. Stanford is currently a single guy who is ready to settle down and have a family of his own. ... (Read More)He is a lively and loving little guy who bonded quickly with the 10 year old in his foster home. While he does well with her, her energy level can be too much for him at times so a home with older children 15 and over is best. He loves to play and pounce on toys and he loves to snuggle. He gets along great with other friendly dogs and has a blast playing with the other dogs in the backyard. He would do best in a home with another dog who is confident and well socialized so he can learn from them. He is smart and learns quickly and is very food motivated - so easy to teach. He knows sit, down, off, kennel up, stay, settle and leave it. He likes to collect things as in shoes, boots and stuffed animals, he is doing this less and less. He needs to chew to blow off steam so he loves a good rawhide. He is completely house trained and is learning to alert, although he is on a good schedule and that helps. He is a pretty quiet boy and doesn't bark much; but when he does it is for a specific reason and then he stops. He will need a loving and consistent home that can give him the attention and focus that he craves. A home that will show him not just love and affection; but one that will continue to socialize him with other people. He needs a home that can help him be the dog we know he wants to be. His foster mom told us 'I really can't say enough good things about him, someone is going to be very lucky to get Stanford AKA Stany.' Rescue Me ID: 15-02-12-00178Rudy (male)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Foster Location: Kuna, ID Awe what to say about Rudy the 6 month old Dachshund mix; not sure what he is mixed with - bat maybe, just look at those ears! This boy is just a bundle of energy and full of fun; he is all puppy all the time and just a nice boy. He can be a bit shy with strangers and of sudden movements but he is getting better and when he is comfortable he is all about the play. He will cuddle when he gets tired and if he is really scared of something he likes to be hugged. Rudy is not yet 100% house trained, he is getting better and will do great if he is placed on a schedule. He needs to spend some more time learning to ... (Read More)walk on a leash currently it is like walking a fish out of water - he does better when he is walked with other dogs and his foster family is working on this. Rudy does awesome with other dogs of all sizes and would do best in a home with another calm, stable dog (or 2). He chases the cat in his foster home, but more in a playful way (only one in the house his size). This little guy should not go to a home with kids under 10 as the chaos of small children overwhelms him. He'd do great in most any household that is willing to work on his potty training and take him to an obedience class to build up his social and training skills. With a little work this boy will take the world by storm. Rudy has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated If you are looking for a new best friend please complete an adoption application at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $75 adoption fee. Rescue Me ID: 15-02-03-00278Quincy (male)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Sweet Quincy was found scared and running during a thunderstorm in the Hailey, ID area; luckily some nice people found him and took him to the local shelter. Sadly his people never came looking for him; Quincy thought he hit the jackpot when he was adopted but he didn't like their cat so he was returned to the shelter. Knowing Quincy needed to be living in a home Fuzzy Pawz took him into their foster program and we couldn't be happier about that! Quincy is an Australian Shepherd mix, weighs 58 pounds (a great size) and is about 8 years old. He is the perfect companion; calm, happy and might very well work as ... (Read More)a therapy or companion dog for someone. Everyone who meets this quiet boy has fallen in love, he is just so sweet and gentle! This handsome guy is great with people of all ages and great with dogs, but as mentioned no cats in the home for him. Quincy is house trained, dog door trained and knows the commands sit, come, stay and go outside (out the door dog) and we think he could learn a bunch more if someone wanted to take the time with him. Quincy is great when left alone in the house by himself, he is crate trained but doesn't need one. He walks wonderfully on a leash, doesn't chew on things or dig in the yard. He even rides great in the car. Heck he won't even get on the furniture unless he is invited. While he is just about the perfect dog he can be a little skittish of sudden movements sometimes and if you raise your arm to fast he will flinch a bit. That being said we'd say that a household with kids under 12 might be hard on him. If you are looking for a well-rounded, sweet and easy going companion then Quincy is your boy! He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you want to know about him or are interested in meeting Quincy please complete an adoption application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $50 adoption fee to adopt for Quincy (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-03-00265Molly (female)

Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Seizures

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] FOSTER LOCATION: Meridian, ID Hi, I'm Molly and I like warm hugs! If you sit on the floor with me, I will put my head on your shoulder and lean in for some snuggles. Snuggling is my favorite! My coat is so soft and velvety, you won't be able to resist! If you let me, I like to be a lap dog too! I am a 1 year old Lab mix. I am a very social girl who loves meeting new people, dogs and even cats! When I get excited, I tend to nibble a bit in all the excitement...but my foster people are working on correcting this behavior. I'd like to learn how to run and play with other dogs...I don't do it very often but it ... (Read More)seems like fun! Treats? Did you say treats?? I will do anything for a treat, you just need to teach me what to do-I've been told I'm a quick learner. Sitting for a treat is easy and I will do it even before I'm asked, but some extra training would make me a happy girl! Walks are great and I'm so good on leash. I don't pull and I will watch you to make sure I'm doing it right. My foster parents take me on rides all the time and am getting really comfortable with it...sometimes I even put my head out the window for a nice breeze. Toys are a new thing for me and I am learning that a tennis ball is so fun to pounce on! I like to roll it around the room and chase it down. My human takes my ball from me and throws it...I'm not sure why she does that...so I go get it and return to playing with it by myself...I have a feeling she wants it back to throw it again but who knows humans are silly! Ropes are pretty cool too! The young human and I play tug-o-war - I once played tug-o-war with the other dog I live with and it was so fun (and I won!) I really like to chew, so I hope my forever home has lots of toys, bones, ropes, Kongs & water bottles to keep my busy! I used to get all shaky and drooly sometimes, I heard a guy say I had something called seizures; don't know what that means but they felt weird. I do know that the guy (someone called him vet) put me on a daily pill I haven't had any more seizures. My foster mom says my new forever home will need to make sure I get my meds every day which is fine by me because I love them wrapped in cheese! I am house-trained & kennel-trained and will sleep in my kennel all night...unless you want to cuddle with me in bed, because I could do that too! My doctor also made sure that my shots are up-to-date and I have a micro-chip just in case I get lost. As much as I love, love, love people I'm pretty sure I should go to a home that has kids that are at least 6 or 7 as when I get excited and wiggle butt happy (that's what my foster mom calls it) I can easily knock a little one over. Are you my perfect person? I promise I'll be a really good girl, I'm tons of fun and oh did I mention I have the cutest face in the whole wide world! Make sure you check me out walking in the dog park with my foster mom: http://youtu.be/ehGnGmHRmF8 And you can also see me making friends (well he wanted to be friends) with my friend Jenn's cat Mouse: http://youtu.be/Kp4TyZLVOUk If you want to be my forever person and can give me a fun and happy home with lots of toys please let my bestest friends over at Fuzzy Pawz know by completing an adoption application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $75 adoption fee to adopt me She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (Less)

FOSTER LOCATION: Emmett, ID I was living behind a restaurant finding food scraps whenever I could just to survive; at only 3 years old it wasn't easy - I had no clue how to live on the street. Lucky for me a nice lady took me in, made sure I was health, gave me lots of yummy food and a soft comfy bed to sleep on. I am kind of a shy girl but I'm VERY SWEET, I've gained a lot of confidence since I was found but I still prefer calm, quiet people.     FOSTER LOCATION: Emmett, ID Hey everyone my name is Nick and not to brag or anything but I am a very SWEET and gentle boy. I am about 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated and ready to find a forever family of my very own. You see I had a 'family' once upon a time but they moved to Montana and left me behind out in the country all alone; needless to say I was terrified - did you know there are coyotes out there? Luckily for me my wits kept me safe until a wonderful lady came to rescue me; she took me home and cared for me. I admit it took me a little while to trust her but I quickly realized that not all people are mean and now I feel safe ... (Read More)showing everyone what a very outgoing boy I am. I am in a foster home with two other kitties and I love them very much, I sleep with them. I've never met one of those dogs things; at least not so far as I remember, but I suppose if it was really, really nice to me I might be okay. I love to sit on your lap and be scratched and brushed. When I get excited I drool because I am SO HAPPY! I know everyone is thinking - what the heck is wrong with his ear; when I was on my own I had ear mites very bad, by the time I got found and treated it left me with a cauliflower ear (but no worries I'm healthy!). People tell me I am BEAUTIFUL in spite of it and I believe them!! I just want to be a part of a family that will spend time with me and love me as much as I love them. Name: Tippy Age: 10 years Breed: Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix I enjoy soft music, good food, relaxing time together and the occasional walk on the beach or elsewhere. I'll be at the front door when you get home; wearing a smile and ready to meet your every need. I am house trained, know my basic commands and aim to please. I prefer low key friends; seeking a tranquil home environment without young children and chaos. I can usually be found wherever my Foster Mom is, but will go ... I am a harmonious bloke who does not get riled up by much; however I have a propensity to guard my food and bones from other furry invaders and I admit I'm a bit too interested in cats so shouldn't live with one. My hope is for a person of my very own to snuggle up to. I have even been known to nuzzle your hand if the petting stops before I am ready. I enjoy going places and ride very well in the car, although I may need a bit of help getting into higher vehicles. I have a full coat of stunning black/brown/white hair that requires weekly brushing. I am current on all my vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and have even had a dental cleaning! Rescue Me ID: 14-10-14-00641Mango (male)

Domestic Cat    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Hi everyone the name's Mango and I'm a 9 month old domestic shorthair (whatever that means) with a really cool orange coat. My sister got adopted a while ago but I'm still waiting in foster care with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm a bit of a shy guy but I have been really working on coming out of my shell much to the happiness of my foster family. I am very gentle with people and I have found out that I really kind of like these daily chin rubs I get before my meal times. And the scratches down my spine to the base of my tail is heaven! I love them so much that I wrap my long tail back ... (Read More)over my spine and stand on my tippy toes to where I almost fall over I just can't get enough. I let my foster mom pick me up and hold for a bit while I get my chin rubs. Sometimes I'll even body hug you back or rub myself against your legs. I'm still a bit unsure of anyone reaching for the top of my head but if you go slow I'm ok with it but I still may duck or back away but I prefer back scratches over head rubs anyway. I don't run away from noises as much as I used to; I may go up into a cat tree or to the other side of the room when the vacuum is going but I now know that its not going to get me and I'm ok with it now. I love to play with toys it's the best way to get me to interact with all that's around me and while I like the Mouse Catcher toy I've discovered a new favorite one '|'|'|'| Ping Pong Balls! I tell you what they are the best thing EVER! I could chase those things all day long the fun never ends with those things; how I have never discovered them before I don't know. I even start chirping at the ball as I'm running all over chasing it it really is just so much fun. I been around other cats and I like them just fine; I've never been around dogs so I'm not sure how I'll react, but I think if the dog leaves me alone and you understand I'll be scared for a bit I'll learn to that it will be okay. I've never been ok with small children their energy is just too much for my soft ways, so my new home shouldn't have kids any younger than 12 please. I enjoy the quiet life and would thrive in a soft easy going environment. Someone who wants a quiet gentle companion would be perfect for me. I've had all my kitten shots including rabies so I'm good till after I turn 1 I've been microchipped and neutered. So I'm all set to find my furever home with you and I hope that with you I become the best cat you've ever had I mean just look into my eyes and you'll know that I'm the one for you.
